Health & Care
All breeding cats at Sakura Sphynx Cattery undergo Wisdom Panel™ Cat DNA Testing to screen for hereditary and breed-related genetic conditions prior to breeding. Our breeding program is carefully selected to help ensure no known genetic health risks are identified in either parent at the time of pairing. Each kitten includes a one-year Banfield Optimum Wellness Plan® Early Care Plus package (less services already completed prior to pickup). The plan includes unlimited office visits, two virtual visits, 24/7 Pet Chat™, wellness and nutrition coaching, comprehensive nose-to-tail examinations, age-appropriate vaccinations (including Feline Leukemia, Feline Distemper, and Rabies), leukemia/FIV testing, parasite screening, fecal testing, ear mite examination, deworming treatment, and routine spay/neuter services with pre-surgical assessment, bloodwork, internal organ and electrolyte screening, blood pressure monitoring, anesthesia, and in-hospital pain management. The package also includes a 5% discount on most additional Banfield products and services not otherwise covered. Some services included in the Wellness Plan may already be completed by Sakura Sphynx Cattery prior to pickup as part of the kitten’s veterinary care and surgical preparation.
Spay/Neuter Requirement
The cost of your kitten’s routine spay or neuter procedure is prepaid through the included Banfield wellness plan. Completion of the procedure by the age specified in the Purchase Agreement is a mandatory condition of sale and is not optional. The buyer is responsible for scheduling and ensuring completion of the procedure in accordance with the Purchase Agreement. If the procedure has already been completed by Sakura Sphynx Cattery prior to pickup, no additional spay/neuter procedure is required.
